Why I Became A Dog Photographer
Photography has been part of my life for many years, but dog photography quickly became something far more personal than simply taking pictures.
Dogs have an honesty about them that you can’t fake. They live completely in the moment, they each have their own personality, and the bond they share with their owner is unlike anything else. Capturing that connection – the expressions, the character, the little moments you never want to forget – is what I love most about what I do.
For me, dog photography isn’t about stiff poses or trying to force a perfect picture. It’s about creating images that feel real. The way your dog looks at you. The way they run through the woodland with complete joy. The way they rest quietly by your side. Those are the moments that matter, and those are the memories worth preserving.
That’s why I specialise in outdoor dog photoshoots in Lincolnshire – giving dogs the space to relax, explore and simply be themselves while I capture the images that tell their story.
